Everything I Wrote & Shared in 2024 (It’s the Perfect Amount)

Whenever I compile these year-end lists, I’m always gob-smacked at how much I write in a year.

Yet, sometimes I worry about whether it’s enough. Common advice for online writers and businesses is to send a weekly email. (“Be in touch with your audience regularly or they’ll forget about you!” they say.) The idea of a weekly email makes me break into a cold sweat. So much pressure to produce quickly!

Monthly-ish is the perfect cadence for me. I enjoy luxuriating over what I’ll write about for a few weeks, working on it here and there, and then refining and adding until it feels complete.

But then at the end of the year, I compile this long list of everything I've written, and I immediately worry it’s way too much. Am I overwhelming my readers?!

Good grief. We’re so conditioned to believe we’re somehow “not enough” and “too much” at the same time. The game is rigged, and it’s all such nonsense.

So…here’s everything I wrote for Care Packages in 2024. I’m proud of it, and it’s the perfect amount.

Tired of feeling behind?

  • Wasting time can be a beautiful practice that helps us unhook from hustle and reconnect with the joy of our humanity.

  • Deadlines can make us feel inadequate, stressed out, and rushed in a world that already moves way too fast. Let's stop micro-managing our lives.

Want some new self-care tools?

  • Last month, I shared one of my favorite and most life-changing tools: rage journaling. Please try this one! It has had a dramatic impact on my physical pain, anxiety, and mood. And two readers reported back that it has been super helpful for them already.

  • As you navigate the highs and lows of life, try new self-care tools and ask these questions before you add them to your toolkit.

  • Here are three guided meditations from our resource library.

Having a hard time?

  • Make a gentle plan for how to be kind to yourself, lighten your load, and resource yourself for a hard time. My downloadable community class will guide you through it.

  • It’s appropriate to be tired right now. We’re all dealing with compound stressors (collective, personal, and daily stress), and it’s zapping our capacity.

  • When you’re having a hard time, life doesn’t stop to wait for you. This is very unfair. BUT…here’s a practical technique for juggling life when you’re stressed and exhausted.

  • Are you having trouble recovering from something intense? It’s not realistic to bounce back immediately—especially for those of us with big hearts and sensitive systems.

Thinking about quitting?

  • I share my story of quitting a new job after six months. I used to think it was a weakness when my body fell apart in stressful situations, but it often means I’m in the wrong place.

  • A few things to consider if you’re unhappy in your job and contemplating quitting.

Feeling collective grief?

Feeling stuck with your dreams?

  • If we don’t dream big, and if we don’t act on our dreams, we’ll never create a new world. And we'll miss out on who we become as we walk towards a braver, bolder vision for our lives.

  • Ten things every dream needs to come true + reflection prompts for taking the first step. How is your dream asking you to show up?

  • Whether you have trouble slowing down or have trouble getting going, here are my strategies for taking action without self-punishment.

Craving more JOY in your life?
